25 × 50 mm, the lightest tube in the range
Finished on every side, so the small section still reads as a beam
Light enough to fix to slab or batten without an independent frame
Takes little out of the ceiling, for rooms that cannot lose height
A hollow wood-plastic ceiling tube at 25 × 50 mm. It is a four-face profile, finished on all sides, so it reads as a beam rather than as a plank of cladding, and the 25 × 50 mm section makes it the lightest tube in the range.
That lightness is the reason to pick it: it suits a low ceiling or a soffit that cannot give up much depth, and it is small enough to fix direct to the slab or to a batten without a separate frame. It is used for small decorative beams and coffer infill, where the tube is there to give the ceiling a rhythm rather than to do any structural work — it is a decorative profile, and a beam that has to carry load is a different product and a different design. Because the tube is finished on all four faces, it can be seen from below and from the side, which is why it works as an exposed beam and a plank cannot. Runs are made to length where they fit inside the produced length, so a short run has no joint in it at all.
Confirm the available ceiling depth and the suspension points before ordering, since at this section the fixing method is what decides whether the run sits straight.
Where a deep beam would bring the ceiling down to the door head
A small section over a wet room, with the void kept shallow
A fine beam line that marks the length without dominating
Small tubes set inside a coffer grid to fill the panel centres
1 × 20ft container, mixed across products where the mix suits the project. A sample box can be arranged before the first container.
Yes. Send the product and the size you are specifying, and we will confirm the sample and the lead time for it.
Small decorative beams and coffer infill where the ceiling can only give up a little depth. It is the lightest section in the range, so it suits a low ceiling or a soffit that has to stay shallow.
Not normally. At this section it can fix direct to the slab or to a batten. Larger sections need their own hanger, because a light fixing cannot carry the weight of a deep tube.
No. It is a decorative ceiling profile. If the beam has to carry load, that is a different product and a different design.
The profile is made to length where it can be, so a run inside the produced length has no joint. Beyond that, joints are butt-jointed and need to land on a hanger.
Final packing, freight and loading plan are confirmed in writing on the order quotation.
