Formulated for bathrooms and kitchens, on a closed-cell core
Clears a slight bow that a 10 mm board would follow
The cavity helps over an uneven wall but does not replace packing the battens
Shadow-line joint with the fixing concealed behind it
A moisture-proof wood-plastic composite wall panel, 159 × 15 mm, with a grooved face and an interlocking edge. It sits between the shallow and deep sections in the range, which gives it enough cavity to clear a slightly bowed substrate while keeping the standoff modest.
The moisture-proof compound makes it the section for wet rooms, kitchens and utility rooms — on the dry side of the enclosure. That qualification matters: the panel resists moisture but the joint is not a tanking membrane, so the inside of a shower, and any wet-room floor, still needs proper waterproofing behind it. Panels fix to battens and the joint closes into a shadow line with no visible fixings. The 15 mm cavity helps over an uneven wall, but it does not replace packing the battens: a hollow panel spanning a void sounds hollow when knocked and will eventually show a witness line at the batten. Check the substrate with a straight edge first.
Confirm the room’s wet-zone boundary and the finished wall height when ordering, so the panel can stop where the tanking begins rather than being cut around it later.
The dry side of the room, where a wipe-clean face beats re-grouting tile
Behind the worktop where steam and oil settle, and a cloth is the whole maintenance routine
Damp coats and wet boots, so the wall has to survive both
Refurbishment where the panel goes over the existing wall without stripping tile
1 × 20ft container, mixed across products where the mix suits the project. A sample box can be arranged before the first container.
Yes. Send the product and the size you are specifying, and we will confirm the sample and the lead time for it.
On the dry side of a wet room, and in kitchens and utility rooms. It resists moisture but the joint is not a waterproof membrane, so the inside of a shower or a wet-room floor needs proper tanking behind it.
It gives more cavity than a 10 mm board, which helps over a slightly bowed substrate, but it is not a substitute for packing the battens. Check the wall with a straight edge and pack where it is out, because a hollow panel over a void will sound hollow when it is knocked.
It is a produced width in the range. Set out to the actual face width and work from a centre line; do not assume it modules against the wider boards.
Yes, provided the panel is on a dry, stable substrate and the appliance is not trapping steam against it. Leave the cavity ventilated at the top so moisture can escape.
Final packing, freight and loading plan are confirmed in writing on the order quotation.
